Granite Falls: Saturday Nights! was funded locally by the people and businesses of Granite Falls and the Upper Minnesota River Valley. No outside grants. 40% of Granite Falls businesses invested in the production. 35 local, amateur actors played 36 characters from the history of Granite Falls, with the help of 22 more local extras, musicians, and visual artists. No tickets. Anyone who wanted to see the show saw it for free. This production shows that a small community will invest in what it cares about.
